I'm also getting around 27 max on a laptop. Takes a recent desktop CPU to approach 60. Planning to release another demo soon with FPS on, or cl_showfps in non-demo console. Too bad my current flash build is broken tonight.

I wonder if throttling the server would help, or a drop in the bucket compared to the pixel-pushing.

qbism, you are awesome. I thought I should say that. Not because of your code but your attitude is about sharing which I feel is important in modding.

Shucks! All that's shared is a remix of code others have done. Not to mention GPL content in this case. Motivation is greed to attract more ideas. And betatesters.
