Biodude, just calm down. We have a long way to go before conscript is officially released. I'm sure crowbar will surface by then. If not, we can use the old source and fix that up a bit and release it legally. Allf of those features are nice, but not necessary.

Yea I can't stand it anymore. I may have been immature a while back but I have grown up a bit. And from the looks of it the rest of the community needs to grow up a bit too. I want to leave, asap, but I'm going to finish what I started first. (Conscript & Left 4 Quake(, and maybe one more small project))

Relax. If any of you guys get something close to a completed mod and you only need 1 or 2 key features to get it working in an open source PSP engine, I'd be willing to do limited and well-defined coding to push an essentially done mod across a finish line.
[Most of the PSP mods, of course, are nowhere near done and the would-be project leader has a list of 75 unrealistic engine pipe-dream must-haves --- which of course they don't "need" but rather is a lack of being able to draw and work within boundaries, a characteristic of any project that will get completed ... ]
The night is young. How else can I annoy the world before sunsrise?
Inquisitive minds want to know ! And if they don't -- well like that ever has stopped me before ..

My first idea for a game was spawn of the dead a while back. I really had no idea back then.
I know my limitations now, have a really nice engine, and I am not thinking of unrealistic expectations, pretty good team, etc.
Ghost fang has done so much help for me, its insane.
I can get immature sometimes when I am angry about something, but I am usually well tempered, and a nice guy. I had a rough week, and putting this stupid engine ordeal on me made me mad.
These days everyone wants to make a psp game based directly off another game, with no modding experiance.

I.e. you.
At first you have no modding experience. And then you do.
I started that way, you started that way and even LordHavoc started that way.

some people on moddb have mods up there with just a bunch of unfinished models, and begging for coders, texture artists, mappers, animators- thinking that they all will just come to them
In the first game I tried to make, my poly limits were double what they should have been, my coder dissapeared, no maps, no final story, and not really planned out well.
Call of Quake anyone?

To be fair, it was Jukki who posted the binary here, so he's the one who's commiting a GPL infraction here.
If Jukki doesn't have the source, he must get it from whoever gave the binary to him. And so on.

lets just forget this whole mess, and not bring it back up.
He said he found a link, I really don't think anyone directly gave it to him. Alot of the time, if you upload something on megaupload, and google for something like dquake.zip, you can find the link. I had megaupload remove the link.
Thanks for trying to get the heat off my back anyways

Haha, Thanks for the laugh. I think this thread is pointless (Other than the fact that people can look at it and maybe realize how bad Breaking the GPL is)
