Model attachments?

No wonder the framerate dropped when there were lots of them in the view...

What about bones? The model is in DPM format, so there's the skeleton in it too. With some attachments I just had to have the base skeleton in them too, which is also already in the "primary" part. I've optimized the attachments to only have bones that affect them, like hair doesn't need arm or leg bones..

I've not noticed any framerate drops with realtime lighting turned off though...

Do the attachements cause a draw call if the entity is non visible? I just spawn some left and right weapon entities, but when the character doesn't have any weapons in hands, then there aren't no models for the left and right weapon entities.


Well anyway, would it be a better idea to export a model with hair and a model without hair? I'd get rid of the duplicated bones too...
