Lightning sprite?

Postby Orion » Wed Mar 19, 2008 9:21 pm

Hi guys, I have a doubt, if I use an animated lightning sprite and use it as oriented, and put the angles_x + 90, will it face correctly?

The lightning sprite will look like the picture below, with, of course, transparent background and not that huge.

Another question is, is a sprite pixel equivalent to 1 quake unit in Quake?

It'll face in that direction yes, but beware that the other side may be blank. As for your other questions, I'm not sure if a one pixel sprite is one quake unit, interesting question though.

I think it is, I just tested it, the bolts fits each other very well! :)
1 sprite pixel = 1 Quake unit.

But some sides aren't visible.
