Hi, I just made another mod called MonsterMatch, where you enter a game as a random monster, but through impulses you can be a preferred one after dying. I plugged my bots into it for offline play, so you should have a recent version of Darkplaces or FTE 3343.
The bots doesn't support teamplay, but in FFA mode is fun too, I liked it, not because I made the mod, but I liked because it's fun to play, I'm not faking anything, it's my opinion.
It also supports deathmatch 3, where rockets and mana will spawn every 15 seconds instead of 30.

Sounds like a lot of fun. If no one hosts a server for 3 hours to play with you guys then I'll do it :O Let's set a date and time chop chop

I think I should revitalize the Death Knight... but I'm waiting opinions.
Too bad my connection sometimes sucks, it's not dial-up, is wireless, but the signal is too unstable. Hosting a server here is nearly impossible, sometimes people can't join, or when someone joins, he gets very lagged, independing of his connection.

I forget to say a thing, I'm thinking of making a TF-style of this mod.
I can create my own flag and flag cap functions and add support for existing TF maps, that will be sweet!
And, I'll remove the bots in the TF style mod, because they're not good enough for that.

BUG DETECTED: When you use the Fiend's jump attack, you'll do damage even if you're very close to your target.

I'd say make it use regular Quake maps for CTF

So, assuming this can turn into a TF-like mod:
Shambler == heavy ?
Ogre == demoman ?
Fiend == scout ?
Knight == ?
Hell Knight == ?
Looks like you could use a healer, maybe the scrag ? Scrag spits could heal teammates and hurt enemies maybe ? Also since it also flies could work as a flying scout.
EDIT: Heh, would be funny to hear people yelling "Hey, scrag!", "Wizard!" instead of "medic!"...

I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC
