Qonquer - V1.0 Released

Postby Willem » Sat Mar 01, 2008 8:03 pm

I released my first QuakeC mod today - Qonquer. Check it out if you've got some time to kill (har!). The source code is included in the ZIP if you're interested!

Minions is a pretty cool guy, eh fights to the death and doesn't afraid of anything.

:P

Anyways, downloading. Sounds fun as hell.

And now, as I go to download this, I belatedly realize that Willem is in fact, the author of some of my most favorite SP maps. (Retinal Tear, of which incidentally, I'm working on a remix from scratch of)

EDIT: This mod is GOOD. Weighing in at about 2mb, it's stable, bug free, and comes with a really nice looking map. (that includes a neat skill select area, arena select area, and three themed arenas that have nice architecture) Get it NOW foos!

Bumped to the news (I actually checked your blog before I did the forums) with a review posted as well - first mod I've gotten around to reviewing on i3d actually.

/me has ColdHeat moment :P

Not to hijack the thread, but just incase people think I'm not really doing it:

Original Retinal Tear

Remix

It's going slowly though because I've got a couple of other maps I'm working on too when I'm not working on Hellsmash / QSR. (Which these maps will probably be designed to support)
