Kurok compile error - M$ C++ 2008

hi everyone.

ive tried to compile the kurok source files http://bladebattles.com/kurok/files.html
but im not able to compile it

i have windows 7 x64 home premium and M$ Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition. I import the project, but
i always get a message like this:

Error during create. Would you like to continue anyway and run a older Build? After i click yes, nothing happens
(Of course not, i havent compiled it yet)

can someone help me?

(This isn't a QuakeC question ... it is an engine question since you are trying to compile an engine .... anyways ...)

You might be able to follow some notes in this thread viewtopic.php?t=1281 because you have to convert the MSVC 6 .dsw to a MS VC Express Project and the source will not compile as-is.

From an effort standpoint, in some ways you might be better off buying a copy of MSVC6 off Ebay because I am pretty sure the original FitzKurok has the ASM stuff enabled.
