Iron Sights/scope

Hey, i was wondering how i would code in iron sights. i know i have to make an animation and code it in and i dont know what to do from there. also if i was doing scope code it again would be an animation and i dont know what to do next :p

Maybee you need use flags to make the work 
Binding some keys with alliases, and you know, when you are "ironsighiting" the frames of the weapon model and the FOV (if you are using darkplaces use zoom) are differents and (obviously) you cant change the weapon with the impulses:)
check the "tactic quake" or "black ops" code. You can download the mods from http://www.quakewiki.net/quake-1/mods/

it wont dl its all corrupted or something?

What is corrupted? Mods are zipped using 7zip, but any WinRAR above 4 can open it.

Right click on it and select save as, change the extension to .7z and it'll download fine

Yup, I tried to download a file and seems that Firefox 8.0.1 tries to open the file as a page instead. Maybe some problem with MIME configuration in the server side ? I already downloaded .7z files from other sites without problems.
I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC (LordHavoc)

Google Chrome (my primary browser) works fine.
Mozilla Firefox 9 opens the 7z file as text, thus screwing up the download.
Try right clicking and selecting "Save Link As...". I'll see what I can fix, as I'm using a plugin to track downloads. Might be a bad setting.

omg thanks i got it and im reading the code and theres a lot of stuff i could use just trying to understand it is the difficult part
