Modding on shareware quake

Postby Sami » Sat May 13, 2006 4:10 pm

I did a reformat and can't find my Quake CD :'(

is there a sneaky way of making quake pretend it's registered until I find the CD or buy another one?

Taking screenshots breaks the eula. We don't really need to take the EULA *that* seriously. However, the request by id that we not make things shareware compatible I take seriously.

DarkPlaces gives only a warning at startup that mods are often incompatible with shareware quake :)

(dpmod happens to be compatible, though)
