Do you guys know any list of bugs for the default QuakeC codebase?

fish getting counted twice.

frikqcc with the command line parameter -warn3 show plenty of unused variables.

That one is the most hated bug. There are other ones that more complicated to notice.

All in all, if you don't experience a bug it essentially doesn't matter. I'm sitting here using FireFox on a Mac and I bet there are maybe 130 things I could do that would crash it, but I don't run across them on a typical day.

As an example: this is a true speed of Quake shareware exploiting evil bugs like killing monsters during INTERMISSION (!!) at times.

I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC :) (LordHavoc)
