Quake1 just some question

Postby quakecorpse » Wed Apr 19, 2006 11:11 am

Hello, i've found this tutorial about a shotgun kickback for quake1:

http://tutorials.moddb.com/1/?fpage=1

i've some question.

the tut. is correct?

"Under the prototypes" what does it mean? is the line :

"void (float shotcount, vector dir, vector spread) firebullets"

Thanks

He means anytime after void() SuperDamageSound; but before void() W_Precache =

In the interests of being clean though, you should put it after void (float shotcount, vector dir, vector spread) firebullets is defined, but before void() W_FireShotgun.

Ugh more ugly code. I wouldn't suggest that tutorial, it's just bad. You might be able to pull it off in singleplayer, but anything else is uggh
F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe.
