two models for one weapon?

Postby Nahuel » Thu Apr 07, 2011 10:54 pm

I have some problems exporting my md3 in milkshape. But but I managed to export the hands and the weapon in two separated models.
is It posible to use two models for just one weapon?
the self.weaponmodel function seems to support only a model.
Is it possible to achieve this without using something like muzzleflash?
It happens that to activate the animations they seem to be somewhat complicated with the false MUzzleflash.
Therefore I want to use two models in only one weapon.
Greetings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the part where you make new entities, use 'viewmodelforclient' (see dpextensions.qc for details) and move all viewmodel crap there on the client's own viewmodel entities.
Only a few engines support this (DP, FTEQW, GoldQuake)
i should not be here
