Imitating ball physics

Is it possible to imitate ball physics with QuakeC? Like in this game based on Q3: http://neverball.org/

I thought it used the Q3 engine. Well, anyway, is ball physics possible? Has it been done before?

ODE is an engine modification. I'm talking about pure QuakeC, such as Gyro.

That requires some builtins, but the majority of the work is done in QC.

I see. Well, i wanted to try without any engine modifications, just QuakeC. I guess i'll try with Gyro anyway.
