[Tutorial series] QC video Tutorials

Postby Mexicouger » Tue Jan 25, 2011 12:01 am

I decided to start making QC tutorials. Lots of people have been coming to my site telling me that they want to learn QC, so I thought that this would be the best way.

And when I am teaching people QC, it is from my perception. It is how I see the code and how stuff works. So it might not be the same view you guys have, but My code works, so bear with me, And by golly, don't flame me for just trying to teach people.

I am trying to get better speaking skills as well, My first video was horrid.

Video 1- QuakeC Tutorial -1- Data structures
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7GGLj1yXJE

Video 2- QuakeC Tutorial -2- Creating a function + misc stuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5ki1RCwacs

Video 3- QuakeC Tutorial -3- Meat of functions[1]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ0Tr8tCd_8

Video 4- QuakeC Tutorial -4- Meat of functions[2]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqS7og5pQbg

Video 5- QuakeC Tutorial -5- Meat of functions[3]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrMwTJv5h1w

video 6- QuakeC Tutorial -6- Impulse commands
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTTS8RRClQs

Again, Please don't flame me for teaching people through my perspective. My goal is just to teach people this great language for Quake.

Not bad!
The second tut is pretty good. I like the way you talked about each line of code.
And you're right... doing these types tutorials will definitely improve your speaking skills. Kudos to you for the self improvement!

Keep those videos coming... I'll definitely be looking for them!
Good God! You shot my leg off!
