Frikbots in Darkplaces

How do I get them to work. I am on deathmatch, and when I goto add a bot, it says the server is full. There s also no quake.cmdline, so I can't add in the listen command.

Yes you can! You have to use the commandline - the real one, and not some lame PSP emulation file for one. You could append -listen 16 to a shortcut if you wanted.

But since Darkplaces is so SUPERADVANCED(TM) you can directly start a listen server with 64 players from the menu.. No, Frikbot only allows up to 16.

Hmm. PSP community must really be behind the times.

Is there still a lot of people playing quake1 mods on the psp? I'm glad quake 1 is always the first to be ported, keeping all these old school mods and tutorials alive.

Was the Dreamcast era of modders as dumb as the PSP generation? Which I am proudly part of?

yes. the only persons that ever released DC mods worth playing was renegadec and ajay. When you have a console in mind you'll always get that misguided ambition SNR level higher than a PC platform because hyping is more effective when you have a computer mom put a couple games on and it do things and so there's more (usually teenage or early 20s) modders that just do it for the hype and attention (the ever-stimulating "more friends" placebo effect) rather than actually doing the damn thing, lucky if they get better useful feedback more than "good work best game"

PSP community isn't that bad. Bad part is all the mods that get started on moddb and never even get started.
