Hi, welcome to this messageboard. :-)

You seem to be quite new to QuakeC so I highly recommend you dive into the extensive tutorial selection at http://inside3d.com/tutorials.php
The QC Specs are also an interesting read: http://www.inside3d.com/qcspecs/qc-menu.htm

Start with small tasks or tests, understanding will come as you go on.

To clarify: there is nothing called "zomb" anywhere. If you're talking about map entities' names, zombie is "monster_zombie" and knight is "monster_knight". And yeah, there any many resources for this sort of thing. Most map editors should have a list of Quake map entities built-in. Otherwise, you could find a list online:

http://quakery.quakedev.com/qwiki/index ... tity_guide

(I know there are better entity lists out there than the Quake Wiki one, but they keep getting drowned out in the google search results...)
