[solved]Stop camera rotation when strafing?

Postby Moi » Thu Jul 22, 2010 1:38 pm

First of all I'm not sure to which forum section this thread belongs to as it might also belong to the engine section.

When strafing to the left or right via +moveleft/+moveright the camera(eyes.mdl?) also horizontally rotates at a special angle to the same direction.
This looks ok in first person view but makes an odd impression when playing in third person view(based on chasecam tutorial here).

(How)Can this be fixed using QC? Or how can I edit the angle of the rotation?

Set cl_rollangle to 0. (There is also cl_rollspeed you can play with.)
F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe.
