The right QuakeC method for r_drawviewmodel 0?
The original Rocket Arena and some mods send "r_drawviewmodel 0" to the client to make the gun disappear if you are in the observer box to watch the players fight.
That's annoying and I don't think QuakeC should as a general rule ever touch cvars.
Is there a right way to do this in standard QuakeC?
If not, what is the right way to do this in DarkPlaces?
