rain
could anyone give me a simple guide to getting rain in maps in darkplaces.
when i say simple i mean something i might understand, yet comprehensive also, e.g. make sure you've got so and so .qc in ur source (or all dp .qc)
'u know all of it like
also is there a limit to how much rain can be used, can it cover the whole map etc?, does it limit how many models ect you have also - on the "average" system?
thank you in advance

Large amounts of rain, ie, enough to make it look like it's raining at any given spot does tend to slow the engine down quite a bit. But as far as a hard limit on it or affecting other things like models, no.
As far as a tutorial, I can offer the rain code from Pendinas, but a proper tutorial I don't feel like writing. Unless you were to give me some kind of enticement.
