Monster thud?

Postby redrum » Thu Nov 05, 2009 4:06 am

I know that the AI cafe had addressed this problem but the site seems to be down.

Which file contains the code for the thud sound?

Monster Thud sound is hardcoded in the engine. (same with certain splash sounds.) You'll have to replace the thud.wav or whatever it's called with something blank instead.

Ahhhh, thanks. I believe it's the demons landing sound. dland.wav.

No luck, damn!

Can anyone help me with this?

Is the AI Cafe lost forever? That would be a shame!

Looking at my pak0.pak file, it's dland2.wav not dland.wav.

Hope this helps!
