gl_picmip -1 Should fix it. Throw that into the default.cfg. I'll tell Adam to fix it. Thx

Thanks ceriux, for the heads up.

I have just uploaded Diver_v1_3c.zip (Fixed grey screen bug on med & low settings) to itch.io

If you get a chance, please could you give it a test?

Best regards,

Adam.

Diver was good, I enjoyed it. It could use some polish, but what games cant?

I really hated that it said diver in the top left corner for every load screen, made it feel like a tech demo, where the watermark has to be there the entire time so people don't forget what it is their demoing/
also the game didn't respect your binds, which was annoying. Sensitivity of 3 is just too low.

The conback could have been given a border or something so it didn't stick out as much visually, and the text on it could have been
something other than white. But again, console isn't something you're supposed to be hanging out having a beer with.

Overall minor gripes. The game was fun, congrats!

Hei Adam, could you please add a gameplay video? That could be also a great way to promote it!
Even if I didn't see it, congrats for all the hard work! Making a whole game with a small team is a very difficult task!

@gnounc,
Thanks for the feedback, it was really valuable.

I have just uploaded :

21.09.15 - Diver_v1_5b.zip - Temp fix for mouse sensitivity settings, will now save settings permanently after you exit introduction (2nd) map. Working on it.

We are working on getting it to save directly after The Arrival (1st/start) map because that's the obvious place that players will attempt to make the change.

I hear you about some fo the design/artstyle decisions I made.
I am a gamedev in training (don't really know what I am doing) so I consider every asset in the game as placeholder.
Nothing is sacred, any and all could be thrown out and replaced. As most of it has over its year in development.

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks again for taking the time to play it.

@toneddu

Hey! I have a youtuber who posted a vid about Hazard, hopefully, making a Let's play for Diver. I will post that up as soon as it's available.
I have never dabbled in making videos, I am afraid that my noob attempts might scare potential players away.
It is something I should work out how to do tho'
Thanks for the support, it is hard to keep focus over time.
