A new download was posted yesterday on Quakeone (see link in first post) that includes the player model. I'm slowly learning blender and went straight to the .blend files. These will be a great example/starting point. Also great to see qf mdl scripts in action!

I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC

Yet another abandoned project, it seems.
I was really looking forward to this one. Too bad he never finished the ogre, not to mention remaking the shambler and the regular knight.
If this was on something like Kickstarter, I'd have helped fund it, just to make sure it would be finished.

it was a nice looking set of models. was awesome how extremely close they look. too bad..
