UV mapping..

I'm looking at this and I'm totally lost. I've been able to do it with simpler things like weapons before, but holy Hell, characters are difficult. Isn't there some magical solution?

You can do it using Lith Unwrap depending on how simple the model is it is a rather easy program. Or you do the long way and do it through 3Ds Max like I do. http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Lithium_Unwrap bit of info.

do a search for Unfold 3d, simply amazing program! Really speeds up the process and makes it actually enjoyable to do

Meh, my UV maps still suck. Like, really bad.

Maybe I'm just bad at texturing. Dunno.
