Skin groups ?

Post by frag.machine »

Is there any tool able to create that ? QME seems able to create frame groups, but I haven't find where I could do the same with skins. :?
I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC :) (LordHavoc)

Lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You simply import skins in QME 3.1 while another skin is selected. BAM it's a skingroup

Xmen-ROA uses skingroups for the burnt skeleton MDL.

Ideas for its use:
- animated fire MDLs
- Pulsating gradients on energy weapons
- Chainsaws
- Sphere explosions
- worms
- strobe lights
i should not be here

Ahh, I see, I was running QME 3.0. QME 3.1 indeed does the trick. Thanks, leilei.
