Is that fan texture using alpha? It looks like it does. How did you do it?

Errr, actually, is that Quake 1?

Looks like a certain Quake 3 map to me.
Which kinda fits with leilei's connection to OpenArena and all.

But yeah, alpha tested fan shader with tcgen stuff to make it rotate around the center of the texture.

But discussing the map that the model in question is on is somewhat offtopic.

1900 triangles? I remember tenebrae boasting they supported 1024 verts! Hurrah for high detail models.

Separate parts, or single model? That wasteband looks like it would hide uglyness well enough.

i wanted to model sonic once, but i never got around to it
i also couldent decide if i wanted the feet to do the "8" or the "0"
