sure if your prefered model editor can export to .mdl... how ever some cannot. i personally don't like using blender. 3ds max is much more comfortable for me.

can someone point me to a website which shows the proper way to make a website with css and html? i used to know a bit of each, but nothing proper. or at least how to show me how to use css to ensure that the website scales properly regardless of screen resolution?

That way you avoid the messy dxf scrambling that occurs in the mdl format.
The mdl3 is much more efficïent and can be converted with mdl3tomdl.
The model will look better, only the skinfile is a bit of a hussle.
