OpenGL Capabilities Database

Based on reports gathered from players of 0AD, a free RTS, and covering quite a broad spectrum of graphics hardware under both Windows and Linux, which I believe makes it a viable source of relevant info for Quake ports.
One thing that jumped out at me is the stats for GL_MAX_TEXTURE_UNITS: nobody has less than 2, aside from people who are running with Microsoft software OpenGL. http://feedback.wildfiregames.com/repor ... TURE_UNITS
Makes it seem more and more like a waste of your own time to support single TMU rendering in an engine these days...
