What does that have to do with solving the installer problem?
I haven't used a Malice cd in so long, try dosbox'ing it

Quake Terminus has it : http://www.quaketerminus.com/addon.htm
I don't know if it uses the regular installer or if it's a repack, but if it is the latter, I guess you can install that and still play the music through the CD you bought.
Note: From what I can see, it's a repack, so it should work fine
