How do you install your own mod

I havn't installed my onw mod in a long time, i thought i was done by this -game mymod but when i did this is it didnt work. whats the command.

..Well that's right as long as you have "mymod" as a sub directory under the quake directory...

..Then the command line "x:/quake.exe -game mymod" should work fine...

Also, it won't work if the situation is something like this:

c:/quake/mymod/mymod

yeah i worked out what i was doing wrong, it was cause i the code wasnt working, but its all fixed now :D
