A new form of site publicity

Postby CocoT » Tue May 22, 2007 5:40 pm

Keep an eye on your site files usage statistics and, with some slight tweaks, you might find yourself with free publicity! Kewl! (I don't know how long it will last, but it's fun while it does)

http://www.friendster.com/18385088 (this girl looks sort of cute and will think I'm a total jerk but, hey, she started it and I know a much cuter girl anyway) (update: oh no, it's over now...)
http://www.friendster.com/4830007 (update: sad, this one already figured it out...)
http://www.jappy.de/user/Sueppchen90/ms (harder to find, but it's there!)

Oh, and, look someone even advertized my site on this blog : http://www.jappy.de/user/DaPatriko/gb?&start=18 (08.05.2007) ... now, that's nice!

Of course, you can always throw "seeds" around your site, cute little pictures with names such as "sexy logo" and wait... But that'd be a bit mean...

http://www.friendster.com/5406586 (Mmm, too late for this one, too, now!)
http://www.friendster.com/11908990 (Argh, that one is gone, now)

Woo-hoo! More fans!

To be REALLY EVIL , put the leecher-blog-owner ip into your "allow" list, so they can't see what you have done, only their visitors!

Do the general population have problems with colors?
Is common sense a pointer to null?

I think that a yellow text on bright background is hard to read. And that a image has background also make text hard to read. If theres no contrast, the result is hard to read, it make eyes hurt horrible. Real pain.

But seems zillions of teenagers and other people from MySpace, Geocities and Angelfire disagree. So has to be that the normal joe have no idea about contrast, or something.

Oh... wow... that's about as bad as that fake lawsuit thing that happened on the Q2E forums a while back. Suing somebody because they moved some images that you were linking to (presumably without permission)? Would be funny to countersue him just for the heck of it :p

Haha, neg!ke, wow, this is quite insane :)
I was actually thinking about having a little bunch of "fishbait" pictures to then change once the moment is right but, hey, now I'm thinking twice about it, I don't want to end up in jail!
Seriously, some people really do have incredible nerves...
