Quake RPG

taking Quake... I'm going to add a turn based rpg fighting system... equipment system... etc. can't post much now, but I will start ASAP.

I'm dying to work on Quake again... at least the programming side.

No real changes, just wanna make Quake an RPG. No new models, sounds, anything.

Perspective?
Interface?

I assume it is the Quake universe due to no new sounds or progs, which could be utterly great in and of itself. I'd like to know more, even if just in a pm.

Hmmm... A WoW-style game set in the Quake universe would be cool.

I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC :) (LordHavoc)

Nah, Id prefer it have gameplay.

I don't want to be a street urchin, I want to be significant in the game world I'm playing.

dude, amazing. I was thinking that all along at work 2 days ago. I came up with quests and cities, camps... ect.

Mention of turnbased makes me want to go back and add some stuff to Battle of Wits, as I mentioned on IRC. For a speed mod, that was rather cool.
