A little mod...

I've made a little quake mod with bots, some features and bugfixes...

Not bad, I like how you mixed up the weapons and such, and gave the grunt a reload animation. My only complaints would be that the walls bleed (what?) and that one of the monsters looks like a Quake2 monster - is that a from scratch Quake1 mdl conversion or did you just steal it or something?

I've stealed from Quake2 and converted'em with quark.
But the skin colors are messed up, so I've used ACD See to convert pcx to bmp, imported the bitmaps, and there's the model.

Yeah, that's copyright infringement, afaik. You'll want to replace that.

Look, I'm not an out-of-law, but I don't really "stealed", I've Quake2 installed here, and I've just converted from md2 to mdl.
And, I don't agree that's a copyright infringement.

It is copyright infringement, but don't worry. Nobody cares. Nobody thinks you're an out-of-law because dozens of mods already out use converted Q2 models and such.

What's kind of funny is that this is almost exactly the same as a mod I made a few years ago (but didn't release). It had the same Q2 monster replacements (enforcer, gunner) plus the soldier. They used the same weapons as the player so their shotguns would actually blow you back (and the gunner could juggle you in the air just like in your mod). And they dropped weapons/ammo when they died. And they used pain skins and the enforcer shot properly when he did his shooting death animation.

But my mod had beheading :) Sometimes when monsters died their head would rip off and bounce around, I added special headless frames to the Quake monsters for this :)

I still want to do more on that mod someday, it's pretty fun

Yes, you may have Quake2 installed there, but, for example, I don't. You're distributing it, and that's the part that's not allowed.

They're only for deathmatch..
When typing impulse 100 in singleplayer will print a message that SP isn't supported.
That bots are my own... and I didn't emulate the physics, the bot is an "invisible" entity (model = ""), and at StartFrame() you'll see a find() call that updates the "hologram" frames and origin, becuz the hologram is a client entity.

But impulse 100 worked?
