... a rocket explodes on the shambler's shoulder, jerking its shoulder backwards. It roars as you run away, seeing a helmeted soldier wink in your direction. But then...

At first glance, this cosmic oddity simply sparked disbelief and mild amusement from the throng, but after further consideration it became apparent that a 45 ton turd, frozen harder than diamond, and travelling 12.8 kilometres per second actually had bad-ass written all over it. Somewhere in an ancient dimension Shub-Niggurath chuckled...

...to herself as she watched the evening news broadcast. On it, a reporter explained that although the movie seen in theaters was fiction, there was in fact a shambler lurking around this one suburban town..
