along with a couple of other interesting/related things.

the fteqw.com domain was owned by moodles (because I'm too lazy to do much beyond an svn repository). regretfully he died quite a while ago now, and its been some sort of timebomb since. I doubt the registrar will let anyone else 'steal' it for a while (nor allow using a different registrar instead, of course..), so I'm not sure there really is much I can do about it right now anyway, plus lazy.
the server itself (and the triptohell.info domain) is owned by timeserv, so its really just the fteqw.com domain that has been lost.
presumably if you want to access it anyway, you could just add '96.126.121.71 fteqw.com' to your computer's host file (in windows: %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts - beware that virus scanners might complain), and then just access the site as you did before.

yeah, it's just that I got quite used to that site. Anyway, I would like to contribute, if you want, to a new site rebirth, maybe with a different domain name and a HUGE documentation and a section dedicated to make games from scratch with FTEQW. Again, if you're interested, of course.
