What's the most annoying thing you've seen in Doom E3 video?

I noticed that as well leilei, was considering doing a news post about it. You can promote the new Doom without hiding the 20+ year history of id. I find this shameful and alarming.
...and all around me was the chaos of battle and the reek of running blood.... and for the first time in my life I knew true happiness.

for the f*#k! I didn't noticed that! The weird thing is that I clicked Id site two weeks ago and it was normal! :shock: What a shame, id, what a shame: selling a 20 years old iconic site, known by 2 generations of gamers (maybe 3) for what? For stupid marketing reasons. yuck

The trailer looks great, the sinopsis sounds like they're talking about the Strogg instead of demons, and the loss of Id's website is atrocious. Id's website was a priceless resource.

EDIT: anyway, ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/ still works, slow as hell as always

At least they put the original domain back on track ... with a little make up (I prefered the original one a lot, but...)

Holy crap that website is bad. Clicking the quake title does nothing, clicking the original doom cover brings you to the new dooms website.

And the culture page..what an atrocity. Zenimax's "culture" is clearly impinging on id's (or whats left).

Minimalistic but the game is not out yet, i suspect the site will get an overhaul when it nears release.

Sad to see id go extinct though.

Rmeember, Quakecon's now the kind of event where no Quake games have a sale day on Steam - just the bethesda franchises.
