The problem with that map format arises if you have more than one person working on something, but of course that's increasingly unlikely today since a lot of Q1 mappers are hermits :-p

Not a really big issue given that Jackhammer can read radient .map files, and scrama posted his old valve 220 to radiant conversion tool:
