A note for anybody missing my Mauve-coloured brother, his computer blew up yesterday so he won't be here for a while.

When my computer inevitably explodes and kills me, my cat inherits everything I own. He may be the only one capable of continuing my work.

Details: He accidentally installed half a dozen spy bots and thought he'd hack parts of the registry out in order to remove them, and now windows won't start... he's waiting on me to send him a windows disk...

Yick. I know how those registry problems can get.
Personally, I backup my registry every time I install something new. (Dunno about systems other than 98/98se, but the most critical parts of the registry are the system.dat and user.dat)
Additionally, he might try Spybot SD or Adaware or both in the future.
