There's early Quake material in the files (!), including alternate Quad damage faces and player setup poses. Unfortunately for the early hud/sbar stuff, their palettes were shifted and recalculated so there is quality loss :(

Sadly, that's the only interesting early Quake material left over.

I recorded myself playing/trying and commentating for an hour and then had to realise that the video recording failed after 5 minutes. :(

That unused Quake stuff is interesting!

It`s a great GIF for a forum avatar leileilol :D
I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC :) (LordHavoc)
