Is there any chance of slipgateconstruct.com working again in the near future? In particular I'm missing the dpwiki experience.

There are backups/archives of the site elsewhere, but active maintenance is the life of a wiki.

This is the most recent one I've found:

Would Icculus host a Mediawiki (and maintain updates)? That would sound like the perfect host. I would love to host it myself but a) conflict of interest with what I wish Quaddicted would grow into and b) I have too many things I want to do already.

I am sitting on quakewiki.org and would be happy to point it there.

I'd love to host it on QuakeWiki.net, maybe in a separate folder, QuakeWiki.net/Darkplaces.

I only copied the content and wanted to make it publicly modifiable, as it's hosted on WordPress with an inactive Wiki plugin.

UPDATE: OK, it's settled. I'll have a wiki system in place, with contributor registration on-demand only (in order to avoid spam).

The darkplaces wiki seems to be inaccessible presently...

Yes, DP-wiki is somehow cursed... :|

- Error had to move to a place without internet access
- His DP-wiki went down (most probably due to unpaid bills)
- Chip found a backup (unfortunately an old one) and hosted it
- Now the backup is also down

I loved Error´s DP-wiki and used it incredibly often.
Maybe someone someday can break the spell :)

Hey Seven and LH, the backup is not down - http://www.quakewiki.net/darkplaces-wiki/ - I played with some site modules and the backup got hidden.

I was also wondering if anyone would be willing to update it.
