QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
Is QuakeSpasm in Debian now?
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
Yes. (and why is that so shocking???)andrewj wrote:Is QuakeSpasm in Debian now?
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
Congrats!
It's a bit shocking because there's never been any Quake engines in Debian before (AFAIK).
Plus it seems like DOOM is a more popular game and there's only ever being one Doom engine in Debian, PrBoom, despite the fact there are many out there, and that one is pretty much dead (has not had any updates for several years).

Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
..That's funny because I run the Darkplaces quake engine all the time in Debian.
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
"Get into Debian" is a fun and rewarding achievment, especially if it's "universe".
Which i've got into before.
Which i've got into before.
i should not be here
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
I see darkplaces is in testing and unstable, but I've never seen a Quake engine in the stable repository (like lenny or squeeze) before.xaGe wrote:..That's funny because I run the Darkplaces quake engine all the time in Debian.
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
darkplaces is there as nexuiz-engine or some package like that.
Re: QuakeSpasm 0.85.7
Oh, didn't realize you meant in the repository, but now I do. It's true other than what spike said, Nexuiz is power by darkplaces.
