He's Belgian, he's betrothed, he can see infra red lights.

But do we fully grasp this European boobman for the terrific might that he truly is? Discuss!

First off, we should clarify the proper pronunciation of CocoT's name. Due to the capitalization of the last letter, I've pronounced it as

Code: Select all
"Cocoa" "Tea"

Should this be construed as an attempt to let the world know that he drinks chocolate flavored tea?

Yes.

That is how I pronounce it as well, though sometimes, just for kicks I will say "Koh Cot"

It's like Christmas only without the weathering disappointment and localized economic downturn.

(I can't believe I'm posting here two hours before my wedding's rehearsal dinner... I need some stress relief, I guess ;-))

See, there was this ugly girl in school who used to make those parrots sounds to call me and mock me (don't ask why, the girl was nut). Actually, she was referring to a commercial for a drink called "Tropico" (maybe some of you know it). The ad always ended with that parrot screeching "Cocooo"... My friends of course mocked me for her mocking me (it's so hard to be me, uh? :-P) and it became my nickname. The "T" stands for my name, Thierry.
So when it comes to pronounce it, well, just picture a crazy pirate's parrot going nuts, then a "T" pronounce the French way, so something like "tay"...

I remember FrikaC, Akuma and I laughing our heads off with that silly MSN bird plug-in in IRC that turned messages into a voice... My name sounded more like, well, a mixture of tea and, well, a penis...

Now, you're of course all free to pronounce it any way you want :)

(Yay! I got my own my-name-is-the-title-of-the-thread thread!)

Note : Coquotte in French also means either a special pan you cook chicken in, or a female chicken, or perfume, or... a bit of a slutty, vulgar woman (usually wearing that same kind of perfume). Troubling, uh? I actually never relly thought about that...

/me tries to imagine FrikaC laughing, but breaks into tears instead

Anyway, go CocoT. Belgians are alright. At least they have their own word for 70.

Sajt : True, and for 90, too! :P ... and for endive, steak tartare and so many others... Always funny when I flip through my "Belgicismes" dictionary and go every two seconds, "wait, they don't say that in France?"...

Ren : http://www.mirc.co.uk/agents.html - the dog is new, I think ('looks like a sad puppy, though), but the genius was already there and is kind of fun, too... well... for a couple minutes, at least :-P

Scar : I am a boobman, it's true. My future (less than a day away!) wife and I have "planned" a shopping trip after the honey-moon for which only boobalicious clothes are allowed to be bought (first stop is BeBe... gotta love that store). So we treat both of us at the same time... Can't wait :) ... I'm lucky to have found someone who goes along with my fetish :-P (well, I don't know if you can really call it a fetish... I believe most straight men are boobs lovers, aren't they?)

Thank you all, guys

AJay : Hey, you know how it goes, these days are so hectic, posting a post here and now actually allows me to relax for a minute :) I swear, anything else I'm doing right now is somehow wedding-related ;-) Yesterday was so crazy, I ran all over the place from 8 o'clock in the morning to 2 o'clock at night. It was fun seeing people having so much fun. I wish I had been a guest at my own wedding, you know, actually having the liberty to relax and dance. It was really a success, though. I'll post a link to a picture whenever the photographer sends us the proofs... ;-)
