Thougts on the new forum upgrades

Talk here about the new forum upgrades.

My folder icons (blue, grey) may not have had the effect I wanted them to have. I like the colors, but it's still hard to tell the difference between the two. The "new posts" icon needs something to distinguish it from the other... maybe a small star of some sort to make it shiny and noticeable.

Anyone else have any problems, suggestions, comments or concerns?

how about a glow around the icon? i personally think the icons look nice, much nicer than before.

A couple days ago it would only find items posted since the upgrade. But now search seems OK.

clicking a thread link takes you to the first post instead of the last, im pretty sure it was the opposite before the upgrade, which I liked.
you can still click on the pages link, but theyre tiny, it was nice to just click on the thread link and go straight to the last page.

I have never encountered this behavior, though I can see how some would find it desirable - if I wanted to view the latest post in a thread I had to make a direct effort to click on the highest page number next to the title link. Perhaps it was a user option you had enabled? I never really dig around in those myself, I tend to adapt to most typical forum behaviors.

hmm, yeah could definately have been an option, i do tend to investigate options, set preferences and then never think about it again.

I am familiar with this tiny arrows from other forums, but sometimes I have to look twice in order to see which thread has an arrow.
