Rules for submitting to the Archive

Postby Error » Fri May 19, 2006 7:49 pm

 No illegal files. will be deleted right away. This includes utilities like qME full, worldcraft, etc. nothing commercial.

 Nothing that was posted in the old archives.

 Make sure your readme says something about what kind of mod it is. This makes sorting very easy. Makes it so we don't have to play it a good bit before moving the files around.

 Big files? no problem. if you'd like FTP access to the ftpuser section, just let me know. if I know you and know you won't delete other people's files, I'll think about giving you access. Until then, please use the uploading system. I'm terribly sorry for the lack of a upload meter.

 Please, before submitting a file, check to see if it exists already. We've already had a few resubmits. Maybe we can do this in the upload script to make this easier.

(I may update this later with more)

Long live abandonware!
F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe.

Would you say it's ok to make our own readme for mods that are not our own if the original one is short and not very descriptive?

Sorry about that...

As long as you properly credit the creator as fully as possible, I would say that is okay.

*uploads QuadCapture and replaces every instance of 'CocoT' with 'shadowalker'*
