spam attack ?!?

jebus seems the spammers are out in full force today.

I assume the i3d team already know that phpbb allows you to force people to answer a (simple) question correctly before they can register. I used it for the forum section of the AGR home page, and the spam stopped dead.

I think we already do that. It doesn't stop the scumbags from manually signing up though. :cry: :x

rather discomforting that security is so easy to get around :(

i guess we will have to police the forums and ban ip's that spam manually (sucks i know).

a spamfilter plugin to php using the same algorithm i use in my mail client (bayesian).
