Rage Gives a Nod
In the latest bit of Rage footage near the end, keep an eye out for a box of Qrayons, and a package of Pinkies. Note the sounds as well.
Also, Gametrailers misspelled Bethesda.

...and all around me was the chaos of battle and the reek of running blood.... and for the first time in my life I knew true happiness.

6:51 is the position in the video that the Qrayons appear. Nice catch, I didn't finish watching the video the first time around due to how boring the video was. (shoot, progress, shoot, progress)

Not on topic, but I was mildly interested in Duke Nukem Forever, until I saw this on the system requirements page:
I lost interest immediately. Because if I'm going to be shelling out $50-$60+ for this on DVDs, then by god I EXPECT to be able to just pop it into a computer, install (without having to go online to let steam dial-home, let alone install steam itself), and play.
I'll just stick with good old quake.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS & SUPPORTS
Initial installation requires one-time internet connection for Steam authentication;

Latest RAGE videos were quite interesting...
good: RAGE will allow you to carry all stuff you have and will have one key for every weapon (eat that, Duke Nukem and you two-weapon wimp limit!);
bad: multiplayer is limited to 8 players at most, and no word on dedicated servers.

I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC

This dedicated servers thing is interesting and I've seen it come up a few times before. Why? Maybe Rage has a network architecture that removes the need for and advantages of a dedicated server? We don't know yet so we shouldn't judge yet.
