Shameless advertising: randomviolence

Postby lth » Sun Mar 12, 2006 10:49 pm

Hey all, hope no-one minds this post since I've labelled it as pimping. If the mods think it's unacceptable, feel free to delete it!

---

The randomviolence site has been updated with some pictures of what you can expect inside the box of randomviolence, if you were to, y'know, order it.

Also, international shipping options are now available.

Cheers

forsooth.
F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe.

There's now a playable demo available here:

http://www.randomviolence.net/randomvio ... 20demo.pdf

(6mb)

The full game is colour, features 10 rather than 4 characters, 12 weapons, 12 missions, a 2-player campaign, 4 double-size maps and a stack of other equipment.

The demo's free, of course :)

i don't like the art direction, feels like a cheesy flash as there are no thick/thin variations on drawn lines making everything lack a representational volume.

get a wacom.
i should not be here

Thanks for that constructive criticism, delivered in a charming and polite fashion :) I'll certainly bear it in mind for future artwork.

The reason for the line uniformity is that the original pictures were done by someone else, then I scanned, traced and coloured them. How would you go about shaping the lines?

Cheapy, as you know, is not known for his politeness. I for one think it's a very cool deal, however, we'rd probably not the best audience for this type of thing. I'm glad you're keeping us up to date on what you're doing though.
