Grrr...

Postby Error » Sat Jan 28, 2006 7:00 pm

my laptop keeps coming up with this error message of "something something going to shutdown immediately... process lsassa.exe caused the shutdown"

I have no way of fixing this... I don't know if I CAN fix it... I'm on my parent's computer right now. Any suggestions would be great... as of right now, it goes into windows... then freezes... no task manager can be used, no programs can be used...

Until I get this fixed (or I get my old pc fixed) I cannot do anything with Inside3D or any of my projects. There's a chance that the good start that I had on Elder Vale is gone now.

Please please please... ANY suggestions would be great.

Someone please do news runs for Inside3D while I'm gone.

I'll check back frequently, but can't use the pc for long, being that it isn't mine.

thanks guys

I think it's the WEBUS.C trojan.

NAV can get rid, if you have it:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.webus.c.html

AuditMyPc say this about it:
http://www.auditmypc.com/process/lassa.asp

Apparently they have a tool that will get rid:
http://www.auditmypc.com/free-spyware-removal.asp

I can't vouch for the greatness/usefullness of either.
