Graphical weirdness
Hi.
Finally got round to testing earthQUAKE on my brand new shiny laptop. First tried it with Darkplaces and it ran, even with the huge map of ugly design that is eq0101.bsp, smooth as silk even with everything turned on and maxed. Marvellous. Anyway then ran it in FitzQuake, and instead of the graphical goodness that it was when on my old laptop, it was like this:
Is there an obvious reason for this? Its saddening, because I really like how it looked on my old laptop, and its a pain having to readjust too much for different PCs.

Yeah it was 16 bit. And yes DP seems to do something weird; if I play DP the enxt time I ran it in FQ it goes back to 16 bit.

Probably uses different vid_mode numbers, so in one engine vid_mode 0 might be completely different to vid_mode 0 in the other. Seen that happen before.
