If you need hosting I would be more than happy to provide it if need be. Honestly I don't see why you couldn't contact Atomic Gamer to sort things out, though.

I have unlimited everything, pretty much.
You would have ftp, mysql, and all the access you need.

My hosting is being bought through HostGator, fyi. (business plan, which is the best plan)
Though, you're still being stuck to a higher being (hostgator) and wouldn't really be independent if that's what you wanted. (physical dedicated box)

You should be able to backup sql databases via phpbb admin control panel, by the way.

I have HostGator Business as well, but I am very inexperienced with the actual backend of web development. I was thinking of trying to setup a MediaWiki on my own domain, as a bit of a test run - that and for personal note taking and reference.
...and all around me was the chaos of battle and the reek of running blood.... and for the first time in my life I knew true happiness.

That's neat.
Feel free to throw a message my way if you need help (I've got skype/msn/yim).
I've been managing several servers for years, now, so I'm confident to say I mostly know what I'm talking about on said subject.

Anyways, good luck and have fun. ;)
