We're aware of what Quakeworld is. It's a client/server for Quake that has this magical ability to predict entities. It needs no introduction in a community comprised majorly of hobbyist developers for the said game.

I would like to welcome you to give a game called quakeworld a try.

It's not your game to give.

Those aren't map paks, that's the full game itself. Shame that people like you treat Quake as some public domain free game to toss around at whatever hoping to revive a scene wanting cannon fodder for their "pro" cheat vision that repel the game's player base in the first place.

Keep your damn warez to yourself. I see you're on a mission to crosspost this everywhere.... it's a shame that you have to turn to pirate copyrighted materials in order to scrap up new players. I mean, you could've linked to this.

But nah you're not going to read or respond to my post anyway. Continue pissing on the value of our adored favorite classic.... goatse was created for the likes of you.
i should not be here

That is over priced considering it's only the disk and not even the original jewel case. :(
I want Quake with the original boxing/jewel case. ;)

Owning quake digitally just is not enough.

There's the 'Ultimate Quake' box on Amazon. It includes Q1, QII, and QIII (no arena). Bought it not long ago for like $20 iirc.

Nope, you can get just QIII.

The game is called Quake III Arena. But there's also an addon called Team Arena which is not included in the Ultimate Quake box.

What was the original Q1 packaging? My disc came in an interesting black fold-out cardboard thing that, uh, didn't actually protect the disc from damage. But bought it at least 3 years after initial release.

Google image search for "id quake original case":

The three copies I've had were all cardboard with artwork printed on it, general blurry brown and black, closeups of nails. It unfolded in a _/\ fashion where the front is the Quake logo, when you open it (right to left) you see another image which you open left to right, revealing on the other side the disc, and inside a slit of the back image was the manual. The first one, in 96, had black backing for where there weren't images, but the other two which came at later separate dates had white backing, a case of "print off some more" with no customization other than the layout and images.
...and all around me was the chaos of battle and the reek of running blood.... and for the first time in my life I knew true happiness.
